Underground Coal Mine Due Diligence
Underground Coal Mine Due Dilgence
Comprehensive geotechnical/mining study for a deep (500m) high stress, multi-seam, longwall mine. The deliverable was a risked based mining strategy implementing stress relief mining methods for widened excavations.
Deep High Stress Underground Longwall Mine
Completed a geotechnical feasibility study for an underground and open pit gold mine. Evaluation of ground support design using empirical and analytical methods for pillars, drives, portals and stope stability assessments. Slope stability analysis.
Feasibility Study Underground & Open Pit Gold Mine
Delivered a concept/prefeasibility design for Australia’s deepest proposed underground coal mine.(450-800m). Optimised proposed barrier pillar (widths) resulting in an additional $50 million of production over proposed mine life.
